Cortney Kealoha is a Raleigh native who has been styling hair for almost 10 years.
After graduating from UNC Wilmington Cortney attended cosmetology school and
pursued a career as a hairstylist! She loves the styles and trends of the 90s and early
2000s and feels as though she is “stuck in the 90s” with her own style! She loves to give
her clients a good 90s blowout with volume and lots of layers, as well as performing clean
precision hair cuts and classical textured hair cutting. She also loves to do formal styling
including bridal services, proms and other special events. Along with cutting and styling
she enjoys bringing some color into her clients lives. She is experienced in dimensional
blonding, traditional foil highlights, foilyage, and beautiful reds.

Cortney is usually on the run and is always busy doing something interesting. This
is partially due to the fact that she and her Hawaiian tattoo artist-husband have a home
with 6 dogs and 4 kids! She lovingly calls her kids “jiu jitsu ninjas” because of their love
for jiu jitsu and martial arts. She thrives in new and unexpected situations in her work,
where she enjoys the variety that hair styling brings. Every client is different and that
keeps the job fun for her! She loves that work is not the exact same everyday and it
allows her to hone her creativity into her work.
