Shilo is a Raleigh local, she grew up in the near-by town of Cary, NC. In 2009 She graduated from Aveda in Chapel Hill; and after working at another local salon, Shilo found her home here at Sam & Bill’s! Shilo has been with the team since 2011 so she knows all things Sam & Bill’s.

Shilo, like all of our stylists, has a diverse skill set and takes her continued education very seriously, always staying current on new trends and techniques. She enjoys spending her days performing an array of services from men’s cutting to women’s cutting, and coloring techniques. Her passion and specialty lies in the art of balayage.

Balayage is a natural, sun-kissed, lived-in look that is perfect for the beachy girls and the women looking for a low-maintenance look that will grow with you. If you’re a busy mom, don’t have a ton of time to be in the salon, or if you just want to leave people wondering “Is she born with it?” then a balayage with Shilo might be right for you!

While balayage is a lower maintenance alternative to traditional foils, Shilo is also skilled in a wide array of foiling techniques; and is ready to offer you whichever service best suits your hair goals. Shilo prides herself on listening to her clients’ needs and building a collaborative hair relationship that will lead you to the best hair of your life.

Shilo loves to talk with her clients and enjoys a wide variety of topics and conversations. If Shilo is missing from the salon you can either find her enjoying the fresh air on a walk outside, or hanging with her laptop writing stories.
